Name: Taku 'Takkun' Kazuhiko
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Height: 6'0''
Weight:124
Appearance: Takkun
Takkun keeps his badge hidden underneath his kimono attached to the bandoleer-esque cloth wrapped about his chest.
Title: "Number 6 of the 99 Zugaikotsu Ronin, Captain Taku Kazuhiko, the Smoldering Blight!"
Number: 6
Theme: Fire. Takkun uses a variety of techniques of a varying nature. Several have multiple applications, thus allowing easy aggressive or defensive fighting.
Gikou:
1. Yakedo-(Flaming Sword)-A piece of flint inside the sheath of his sword gives off a spark and catches the sword aflame; however, it does not need the sheet to spark it, anything that gives off a spark or is already on fire will activate the gikou. First level just coats the weapon in fire. Upon higher levels the flame on the sword grows and intensifies. In its last level the blade itself becomes a flame of a blue color cause of the intensity cutting through almost any material with ease, the gikou allows the user to increase the size of the flaming sword.
2. Yakekoge-(Flame Shield)-A defensive maneuver that is created by a wave of the sword using the resulting spout of flames as a shield to discourage attacking enemies or incinerate certain projectiles. At first the fire only covers a small area of his person, second it is able to become a wall big enough to block his entire body. In its third and final form it can become a sphere of fire that surrounds him keeping almost any enemy at a distance so he can rely on his other gikous from a position of safety. However, it can also be used as an offensive tactic when charging an opponent or preforming it at close range, forcing them to back off lest they be blinded or wounded by the intense heat.
3. Furea Ba-suto (Fireball/Flame Slash)- A simple slash that creates a wave of fire that burns anything it comes into contact with so long as it is easily flammable. A thrust of his sword can send forth a fireball with an explosive impact doing not only direct damage to whatever it hits, but also inflicting a blast radius from where it hits. At a higher level the attack can produce a spout of flame from the tip of the blade as opposed to the typical blast of fire.
4. Kashou Itto Dzuki Sono Rikujou-(Raise Temperature)- In an area of 10 feet the temperature is dramatically increased to the point were flammable substances such as oil, paper, and most clothing will combust. As the level increases the radius expands to 20 feet. At its final stage just about anything inside the field is either engulfed in a flame or will have melted, assuming that contact with such extreme temperature did not cause it to immediately incinerate.
5. Sonzai-no-Hinote(Fire Golems)- Takkuun is able to create fire golems out of almost any object so long as it is consumed by flames. The power, size, and number of the golems depends on three things. First, the size and flammability of the substances around him. Say; if a building was completely aflame, he could turn it into a fairly impressive golem on his first level. Second is the wielder, so long as Takkuun is conscious he is able to control the golems. However, if he is knocked unconscious or is disarmed, the golems will merely crumble to a fiery heap of coal. Lastly, depending on how long the fire stays alive on the golem will tell you how long the golem has left to live. Such as it is windy, cold, or water that may put it out it could depending on the level of the golem. As the level of this gikou increases so does the strength and size. The bigger the golem the harder is to put out and its flame will burn even hotter then smaller ones. A golem will only survive as long as it's flame stays alight, meaning that the larger and hotter golems will not last as long as the smaller one, due to the fact that they burn their fuel faster.
6. Hitodama(Never-Ending Flame)- A flame that which has no end, no amount of water, sand or wind can diminish the fire. It is called upon Takkuun alone and can only be put out when he wants it to. This is his final ability as to it can be used for every other ability he already has. Thus causing a seemingly unstoppable foe. Unless Takkuun is killed, knocked unconscious, or has been disarmed from his sword the fire will remain. Provided a strong source of gikou manages to subdue the flames.
Weapon:
Furui-Akuma Katana; Hibana[Pictured]
-A basic furui-akuma katana, however it differs from others in more then just aesthetics. The inside of the scabbard and the blade are coated in an abrasive substance, the when exposed to friction tends to spark, thus setting the blade aflame. The edge of the blade is rather worn, and at some points there are dents or chips missing on the blade.
Joushou-Seiryoku Katana; Nenshou
-The second form of his sword, the nenshou bears a much more clean appearance. The blade's edge is sharp and unmarked compared to the hibana. Near the tip of the blade the coloration of the metal becomes a reddish color.
Tenrai Seiitsu Katana; Onibi
-While the hilt and sheath of the nenshou remain the same, the third form of the sword transforms the blade into a raging blue-hot inferno. The flames extend to about average length for a katana, yet the blade closer resembles a western double edged sword.
Personality: Takkun is a rather intelligent individual, however he has much difficulty actually sounding intelligent. As a young bed-ridden child he spent most of his time reading as he was unable to play outside with other kids due to his illness. As a result of this he is rather knowledgeable on a wide variety of subjects. When drunk, his inability to communicate is increased to the point where he sounds like a complete moron. He is fairly sociable, despite his speech impediment.
History: Kazuhiko grew up as one child of many. With 14 brothers and 18 sisters, quite literally, many siblings. A large majority of the sons and daughters are groups of twins from several fathers. With ridiculous family portions, there was only so much room in a large farmland community to fit an entire brood of screaming children. As a result, a number of said children were relocated (more like deported) to the capital. Among said children, was Kazuhiko. As a child he suffered from a rare health condition. As a result, he turned out a fairly pale, weak, sickly child. Albeit, one with fairly abnormal eyes as a result of the condition. Among the siblings sent to the city, he was the only one sent to his particular orphanage. As a result, he became known as 'Takkun', by his last name, as it was easier and more fun to say then Kazuhiko. Nearing the time of the war, a draft for soldiers became more necessary, as a result a number of children were dumped from the orphanages into the military's charge. Once more among them, Takkun. Due to mere circumstance, or perhaps some sort of paper-work error, he ended up in the bodyguard program. Showing abnormal abilities in comparison with his sickness, he was a bit of an odd choice, but apparently a suitable one none the less. During the war Takkun served as a diplomat to foreign kingdoms to negotiate allegiances.
