Although it is quite remote compared to other kingdoms in the land, the city is quite a bustling metropolis, or was. The once beautiful city has been reduced to a fraction of it's former glory. The once friendly and inviting residential district has been turned into a slum, while the northern bizarre has been quieted and most merchants are struggling to survive.
From above The City, also known as 'The Capital' is shaped rather like an hourglass. The external walls are each shaped into triangles with their points making contact and forming the base of the Royal Palace and the Palace District. On either side of the palace are the Western and Eastern Gates. The northern half of the city is called the Merchant District. In the middle is the large Bizarre, while south of it is the Northern Palace District. The north most part of the city is the Northern Military District and The Office of Commerce, where all the city's monetary matters, business, treasury, etc. are located. In the middle of the Merchant District is a large tower known as the Pillar of Dawn, which connects with the Palace via a bridge known as The Path of God. On each side of the Northern District are large half-domes which are the North-Western and North-Eastern Gates into the city. The southern half of the city is know as the Residential District. From the north-most to the south most districts of the Residential Area there is the Southern Palace District, the Upper Class Residential District, the Lower Class Residential District, and the Southern Military District. Contained within the Southern Military District is the Office of Law, where the Court House and all of the city's legal matters are held. On either side of the Southern District are two more half-domes, which are the South Eastern and South Western Gates. In the middle of the Southern District is the Pillar of Dusk, a tower equal in height to the Pillar of Dawn, and connected to the Palace by a similar bridge known as The Devil's Bridge.
On either side of the city are two large fields, known as The Farmlands (Western Field) and The Windmills (Eastern Field). While mostly barren, The Windmills is filled with, appropriately, Windmills. For a large district there is one after another, a large shaft topped with a rectangular platform bearing a wind turbine. There does not seem to be a purpose for these towers. The Western Field is mostly inhabited with farms and their inhabitants. The Farmlands are sandwiched by the city's western wall and a mountain range. Unfortunately, due to their proximity to the mountains, the farmers are often attacked by The Akuma.
